'A confluence of convergent and divergent practices'.
Paintings— challenging our comprehension of reality, Ibrahim’s work balances the abstract and the figurative. His painting process begins with a particular color palette in mind, allowing forms to evolve organically. From flat and minimalist forms, into gestural expansive fields of color, and even an amalgamation of mark-making and figurative objects, his works uncover an intuitive process of creation.
Photographs— combine the memories of travel, overlooked elements of daily life, and the people and places inviting others to see the world through Ibrahim’s lens.

“I like to feel renewed when I put together a painting. A different painting style almost every time. It’s like being a film director – and the best example of that would be Stanley Kubrick. He’d make all types of films. A comedy, sexy, then an action film”. -Ibrahim
